Tendo em conta, que a posição dos grãos de granulado individuais por trás do visor de inspeção se podem modificar, sendo vantajoso uma área de medição maior, para adquirir um valor de matéria corante satisfatório. Também deve-se ter em atenção, que na proximidade do visor de inspeção as temperaturas são de 120°C.
