Diferențierea uleiurilor de motor
Trebuie diferențiate diverse tipuri de ulei de motor. În acest scop se poate folosi fluorescența naturală a uleiurilor organice. De asemenea, diverși aditivi sunt adăugați la aceste uleiuri, astfel încât fluorescența să fie diferită sub acțiunea luminii UV.
