Changes after Software Update from SPECTRO2-Scope V1.7 to V1.8
Change 1:
THRESHOLD MODE = 2 TRSH has been renamed to 2 TRSH SIG.
The evaluation has remained the same.

THRESHOLD MODE = 2 TRSH SIG:
2 switching thresholds are available in this mode.
Switching threshold1(2) = REF1(2) – TOLERANCE 1(2)
Hysteresis threshold1(2) = REF1(2) – HYSTERESIS 1(2)

Change 2:
THRESHOLD MODE = 2 TRSH CH was implemented.

THRESHOLD MODE = 2 TRSH CH:
Two switching thresholds are also available in this mode.
Switching threshold1(2) = REF1(2) – TOLERANCE 1(2)
Hysteresis threshold1(2) = REF1(2) – HYSTERESIS 1(2)
In contrast to 2 TRSH SIG, SIG will not be evaluated here, but CH0 and CH1.

Change 3:
OPERATING MODE = DELTA CH SIG INTEGRATOR was implemented.

With DELTA CH SIG INTEGRATOR the deviation of CH SIG from a reference value for CH SIG (REF VAL CH SIG) is determined, standardized to 4096 and added with 2048.
CH SIG: result of the calculation method set under EVALUTION MODE.

Change 1:
SET DP:
If an application involves both very bright and very dark surfaces, and the sensor is set such that it is not in saturation at the bright surfaces, the dark surfaces frequently provide only a very low signal.
Little variations with a very low signal lead to a large change in color space calculation (C-SPACE). To minimise this effect, the sensor in PMODE = DOUBLE automatically switches back and forth between 2 DOUBLE PARAMETER sets. Set 2 must be parameterised such that the signal is maximally amplified.
When the signal is too high (saturation), it automatically switches to set 1.
To get correct color space coordinates with set 2, a correction factor must be used for the signal.
The two DOUBLE PARA

Change 2:
With START CALIBRATION ASSISTANT you can start an assistant that guides you through the calibration.
The following three conditions must be met:
1. You need one reference card. This is either the card RAL 9003-P, RAL 9010-P, or RAL 9016-P.
2. You need different RAL colors RAL from the RAL CLASSIC or RAL DESIGN SYSTEM plus series. These are available from the sensor supplier.
3. You need a file in which the L*a*b* values for the different RAL cards are stored. This file is also available from the supplier.

1) The newly added LED SAT indicates if one of the channels CH0 or CH1 is in saturation. If this is the case, it lights up red. This is very helpful when e.g. working with LED MODE = AC.

2) In the CONVERSION TABLE on the tab CONVERSION, the COMMENT column has been added. An individual comment for every line can be entered in the COMMENT column.

3) With the sensors of the SPECTRO-2 series a channel balancing can be performed. The balancing can be performed on any surface. Channel balancing makes sense given multiple sensors which are to be taught.

STRUCT-Scope V2.0 (2016.07.15)
The structure detection software STRUCT-Scope software is now also available for the L-LAS-RL-CL series. The software automatically detects whether a COAST, GLAST or L-LAS-RL-CL sensor is connected.
A new evaluation mode VIDEOLENGTH / 256 has been inserted. In this case, the length of the video signal is viewed and used as a further parameter for evaluation.
